Beyonce Knowles-Carter is named People Magazine's "World's Most Beautiful Woman." You can get the issue on newsstands now with Blue Ivy Carter's momma dishing on how she got her sexy body back and how she tried to prepare to be gorgeous in the labor room.
The superstar gave birth in January. She got her eye brows waxed, a mani and pedi, and a fresh tightening of the lacefront before it was time to deliver the new addition to the Carter family. But after all of that she says she still didn't feel that she looked that great.
"I didn't feel that I looked beautiful during birth, but who does? After being pumped with all those fluids and gaining so much weight ... I barely recognized myself," she explains.
"But after many hours of labor, I could care less about anything but my child. I didn't care how I looked."
On how she lost the weight:
"I lost most of my weight from breastfeeding and I encourage women to do it; It's just so good for the baby and good for yourself," she said.
Bey breastfed her little angel for 10 weeks.
She added, "I counted calories. I worked out maybe three to four times a week," she shares. "I did a lot of walking in the beginning and now I'm running. But I had to work my way up. I couldn't just go right from being pregnant to running."
